ANDERSON, S.C. – The Georgia College Women's Basketball team (0-2) wrapped up the Conference Crossover Saturday with a 68-59 loss to Wingate University.

The Bobcats started out strong, leading at halftime 25-22. GC was nothing short of dominant in the second quarter, winning the frame 16-9.

Freshman Caroline Wysocki (Flowery Branch, Georgia) continues to be a sparkplug off the bench, scoring a game-high 21 points. The rookie drained 4-for-7 from long range and shot 6-for-12 overall from the field. She also added six steals.

Sophomore Harper Vick (Marietta, Georgia) added 11 points despite battling foul trouble.

The Bobcat bench was the highlight of the day, outscoring their Bulldog counterparts 38-20. Joining Wysocki in reserve points, GC got nine points and 10 rebounds from junior La'Shandria Mallard (Perry, Georgia).

The Bobcats out-rebounded Wingate 33-31 and won the turnover battle 19-17. Wingate overcame those issues with a strong-shooting night, hitting 54 percent of its shots from the field.
