MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. –  With a dominant effort on both ends of the floor, the Georgia College Men's Basketball team (6-2, 6-2 PBC) beat USC Aiken (6-4, 5-3 PBC) 95-68 Saturday at the Centennial Center. Jordan Thomas (Conyers) set the NCAA-era career scoring mark as the Bobcats picked up their fifth win in a row.

With 19 points today, Thomas now has 1,639 in his career, passing Terrell Harris (2016) for third in school history and No. 1 in the NCAA-era of men's basketball at Georgia College. Thomas was a boxscore filler, adding seven rebounds, seven assists and a pair of steals to the scoring number. The No. 2 overall scoring spot belongs to GC Hall of Famer Leonard Scott (1979) with 1,908.

Senior Kohl Roberts (Atlanta) tallied a 22-point, 11-rebound double-double, matching his career-high in single-game scoring. The double-dip was the first of the season for Roberts. The Bobcats got 13 points off the bench from junior Chapin Rierson (Calhoun) as he hit 5-for-8 overall and a trio of three-pointers. Sophomore Wesley Simpson (DeLand, Florida/Union Grove HS [Ga.]) added 10 points, a game-high eight assists and seven rebounds, while sophomore Austin Sloan (Warner Robins) added 10 more points, including a pair of thrilling dunks.

The Bobcats trailed some in the early going, taking the lead for good at 20-19 with a pair of Roberts free throws at the 7:00 mark in the first half. That was part of a 16-2 run that put the Bobcats in the driver's seat. The Bobcats led by as much as 32 in the contest, an 84-52 advantage with 4:40 to go.

GC Men's Hoops shot 62 percent from the floor (37-60) and 48 percent from beyond the arc (10-21). The Bobcats also out-rebounded USCA 47-25 and won points in the paint by a 42-24 margin.
