GAFFNEY, S.C.- The Georgia College Women's Basketball team (3-5) took a tough road loss at a single-loss team in Limestone University (7-1), 73-44 Saturday. 

The Bobcats came out firing in the first quarter, out-scoring the Saints 20-16. Limestone came back and took over from the second frame on, winning the second and third quarters by double digits. The fourth quarter was a single digit deficit for the Bobcats.

The leading scorer for GC was rookie guard Ashyia Willis (Gainesville, Georgia) as she netted 17 points. Willis toed the free-throw stripe 14 times and banked 11. She also had an assist and two rebounds. 

The next leading scorer for the Bobcats was Harper Vick (Marietta, Georgia) as she scored 13 points. Vick has had a double digit scoring game in every game so far this season. Vick went 4-for-6 from the free throw line and had six rebounds which led the team. 

Anaya Cone (Douglasville, Georgia) had the second most rebounds on the night with five, all coming from under the Saints basket. Cone went 2-for-4 from the free-throw line, netting four points. 

The Bobcats are back in action Saturday Dec. 11 at the University of North Georgia to open conference play. Tip off is set for 1:30 p.m. with live stats and video links available at GCBobcats.com
