ALBANY, Ga.- Georgia College & State University Soccer (5-4-2, 4-1-1 PBC) added another win to an already impressive conference record on the road at Albany State University (0-8, 0-5 PBC), Wednesday.

The Bobcat offense scored their lone goal of the contest in the first half of play. This is the only goal GCSU has scored in the first half so far this season. Through 90 minutes there were 12 shots rifled off by the offense all of which were on goal. There were four different players with two shots on goal to lead the team. Sophomore Aralyn Everett (Covington) led the offense with two shots and one finding the back netting for a goal. Ava Martin (Gainesville) took a free kick just outside the 18-yard mark where she crossed the ball to Everett for her first goal of the season.

The Bobcat defense had a superb night only allowing two shots through 90 minutes. GCSU shuffled in nine different defenders through both halves as well as two goalkeepers. Kate Richardson (Marietta) got the start in goal for GCSU earning one save. Mya Necolettos (Davies, Florida) started the second half and earned a single save as well.  The defense and goalkeepers commanded the field and picked up their fourth shutout of the season.
