TIGERVILLE, S.C.- Georgia College & State University Men's Basketball (2-0) make the trek back to Milledgeville after starting the season undefeated with a 67-63 win over Limestone University (0-2), Saturday.
The hot arms of the Bobcats kept going against the Saints with three players knocking down double-digit points. Luke Chism (Dawsonville, Georgia) was the highlight of the game for GCSU earning a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Chism was perfect from behind the arc and at the free throw line while going 4-for-6 field goal range. Austin Sloan (Warner Robins, Georgia) banked 15 points to lead the squad for his first double-digit game of the season. Richard Crawford III (Evans, Georgia) stayed hot in this contest nabbing 14 points.
On the defensive side of the ball the Bobcats outrebounded the Saints 43 to 27. Chism was the only player to have double-digit points while three players had six. Christian Koneman (Chatsworth, Georgia), Brandon Thomas (McDonough, Georgia) and Chris Parks (Buford, Georgia) all had six rebounds, most of which came under the LU basket.
The Bobcats are back in action on the road at Tuskegee University on Tuesday Nov. 15. Tip-off is set for 2:00 p.m. with live stats and broadcast links available at GCBobcats.com.
