DAHLONEGA, Ga. - Georgia College and State University Soccer took a tough 2-0 loss to the University of North Georgia.
GCSU fell to 7-6-2 and 3-4-1 in conference play while ung improved to 11-2-2 and 7-0-1 in the conference.
The Nighthawks knocked a goal in at the end of the first half then hit the back netting at the beginning of the second half. The Bobcat defense and goal keeper
Kassidy Fortin, who had seven saves, made a great adjustment for the remainder of the second half keeping the score at 2-0.
Adriana Duque was the lone Bobcat to get a shot off and it came early in the first half.
GCSU returns home Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 2 p.m. to take on Catawba College.
