Georgia Tech bests Georgia College in exhibition

ATLANTA | Tonie Morgan led Georgia Tech past Georgia College & State University 93-56 in a women's basketball exhibition game Thursday (Nov. 2) evening at McCamish Pavillion.

Morgan led the Yellow Jackets 20 points and seven rebounds.

Hannah Cail led the Bobcats with 17 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the floor, while Jaleah Storr was the other GCSU player in double figures with 12 points. Dashaun Jackson was the leading rebounder for the Bobcats with fiv, while Ashyia Willis added four more.

The Bobcats connected on nine three-pointers against the Yellow Jackets led by Storr, who sank three, and Cail, who had two. Willis dished out five assists for GCSU.

The Bobcats tip off their 2023-24 campaign Nov. 10 when they face former Peach Belt Conference-foe Young Harris College in a 6 p.m. contest in Young Harris, Georgia.
