ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. | Paige Churchill scored twice to lead No. 11 Flagler College to a 4-0 Peach Belt Conference women's soccer victory over Georgia College & State University Saturday (Sept. 30) evening at Saints Field.
The Saints improved to 5-0-3 overall and to 2-0-2 in the league, while the Bobcats slipped to 4-3-2 and 1-1-1. GCSU returns to Bobcat Field Wednesday (Oct. 4) for a 6 p.m. league match against Clayton State University. It will also be the Tailgate Tour for Georgia College. Activities begin at 4:30 p.m.
GCSU actually outshot Flagler 11-9, but the Saints held a 5-4 edge on shots on goal.
Taylor Salvaggio and
Sara Schultz led the Bobcats with two shots each.
The Bobcats also collected four corner kicks to the three for the Saints.
Kassidy Fortin had one saves in goal for Georgia College.
