Bulatao named PBC Men's Runner of the Week

AUGUSTA, Ga. | Georgia College & State University's Philip Bulatao has been named the Peach Belt Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week ending Sept. 3.

Bulatao, a junior from Brunswick, Georgia, was the top PBC runner at the Foothills Invitational hosted by Jacksonville State University Friday (Sept. 1) in Oxford, Alabama. He finished in 29th place overall with a time of 16.12.1 in a field of 236 runners. It was the fastest 5K run in the league on the opening weekend. Bulatao's efforts helped the Bobcats to an 11th-place team finish with 28 teams competing.

The Bobcats return to the course Sept. 16 when they compete in the Julius Johnson Invitational hosted by Mercer University in Macon, Georgia.
