TIGERVILLE, S.C. | North Greenville University won a tight three-set non-conference volleyball match over Georgia College & State University Tuesday (Oct. 22) evening at Hayes Gymnasium.
The Trailblazers rallied to win the opening set 26-24 before taking the next two sets by scores of 25-15 and 25-22.Â
North Greenville improved to 9-12, while Georgia College fell to 7-13. GCSU returns to action Sunday (Oct. 27) with a 2 p.m. match in Augusta, Georgia, against the University of Mount Olive.
Sarah Pipping led the Bobcats with 10 kills, while
Camryn Carlton and
Rosa Fisher each tallied six apiece.
Riese Johnson posted 15 assists, while
Sadie Parkerson collected 13 more and added six digs.
Alanis Bernis led GCSU with eight digs.
