AUGUSTA, Ga. | The University of Mount Olive won a tight three-set non-conference volleyball match over Georgia College & State University Sunday (Oct. 27) afternoon at Christenberry Fieldhouse on the Augusta University campus.
The Trojans, who improved 15-6. won by scores of 25-20, 25-21 and 26-24 over the Bobcats, who fell to 7-14. GCSU returns to action Tuesday (Oct. 29) with a 7 p.m. match against Coker University in Hartsville, South Carolina.
Camryn Carlton led the Bobcats with 14 kills, while
Sarah Pipping posted nine. Carlton and
Brooke Roberts each tallied four total blocks, while
Hayley Shepherd collected three. Sadie Pakerson distributed 20 assists, while
Lexi Baum had eight and
Riese Johnson added five.
Sierra Piland led GCSU with 13 digs, while
Alanis Bernis registered double figures with 12.
