MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | Georgia College & State University recorded a 6-1 women's tennis victory over Savannah State University Saturday (Feb. 24) afternoon at the Centennial Center Tennis Courts.
The No. 22-ranked Bobcats improved to 5-4, while the Tigers fell to 6-4. Georgia College returns to action Sunday (Feb. 25) with a noon home match against Lincoln Memorial University.
GCSUÂ dropped just two games as the Bobcats swept all three doubles matches to earn the doubles point. GCSU swept the first five flights of singles as they only dropped 10 games as each Bobcat won in straight sets.
