Bobcats conclude play at ITA regionals

Box Score SUMTER, S.C. | Georgia College & State University women's tennis players Chiara Santoro and Jada Young were eliminated Monday (Sept. 30) in the fourth round of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Division II Southeast Regional Championships being played at the Palmetto Tennis Center.

Santoro, who was seeded seventh in the draw, lost to No. 17 Edisa Hot of Carson-Newman University 6-0, 6-3, while Young, who was seeded ninth, dropped a 6-3, 6-2 decision to No. 5 Mariana Ramirez of Columbus State University,

The Bobcats conclude their fall season Friday (Oct. 4) at the Mercer Gridiron Classic in Macon, Georgia.
