ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. | Flagler College swept past Georgia College & State University in straight sets - 25-10. 25-16 and 25-22 - Saturday (Oct. 11) afternoon in a Peach Belt Conference women's volleyball match inside Flagler Gymnasium.
The Saints improved to 9-11 overall and to 3-2 in the Peach Belt, while the Bobcats' three-match winning streak came to an end as they fell to 11-7 and 2-3. GCSU remains on the road for a 7 p.m. PBC match Tuesday (Oct. 14) against Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia.
Kaylee Weeks led the GCSU offense with seven kills, while
Avery Huyck and
Lexi Polychrones had six apiece.
Lexi Baum had 11 assists, while
Riese Johnson and
Sadie Parkerson had three each. Liz Diaz posted seven digs, while
Alanis Bernis had six and
Milla Smith contributed four.
Emersyn Mullvain and Polychrones each posted two total blocks.
