AUGUSTA, Ga. | Augusta University recorded a 25-18, 25-17 and 25-21 Peach Belt Conference women's volleyball victory over Georgia College & State University Tuesday (Oct. 14) evening at the Christenberry Fieldhouse.
The Jaguars improved to 16-2 overall and 6-0 in the Peach Belt, while the Bobcats slipped to 11-8 and 2-4. The two teams meet again at 7 p.m. in Augusta, Georgia, Friday (Oct. 17).
Kaylee Weeks paced the Bobcats with 12 kills, while
Nya Warren and
Lexi Polychrones had four kills apiece.
Lexi Baum and
Riese Johnson tallied double figure digs with Baum corralling 15 and Johnson posting 10 more.
Alanis Bernis registered 14 digs, while Johnson had eight and
Liv Diaz had seven.
