Montgomery, Ala. | Georgia College & State University shut out Auburn University at Montgomery 3-0 in a women's non-conference soccer match Wednesday, Oct. 15 at the AUM Soccer Complex. 
The Bobcats improved to 6-3-3 overall, while the Warhawks dropped to 1-8-2. GCSU will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 18, when they host Albany State University at 1 p.m. for Alumni Day. 
Jenni Järventaus opened the scoring for the Bobcats at the 7:33 mark with a penalty-kick goal. 
Kaisa Fagerström added the next goal at the 41:06 mark off an assist from 
Lauren Dozier, and 
Brittany Bakke capped the scoring less than two minutes later at 42:45 off an assist from 
Alayna Cobb. 
GCSU held a 13-4 advantage in shots and 7-2 edge in shots on goal. Goalkeeper 
Ella Hayes recorded two saves in the net for the Bobcats.
