DAHLONEGA, Ga. | Georgia College & State University fell 2-0 to the University of North Georgia in a Peach Belt Conference women's soccer match Wednesday evening at the UNG Soccer Field.
The Bobcats fell to 7-4-3 overall, and 5-1-2 in the conference, while the No. 9-ranked Nighthawks improved to 13-1-1 overall and 9-0 in conference.
Chloe Diaz scored the first goal at 17:13 to give North Georgia a 1-0 lead. Bailey Oetinger added another goal at the 32:41 mark off an assist from Grace McGill.
The Bobcats were held without a shot in the contest, while the Nighthawks finished with 10 shots, including seven on goal. Goalkeeper
Ella Hayes recorded five saves in the net for the Bobcats.
