MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | The Georgia College & State University women's cross country team finished in fourth place at the 2025 Peach Belt Conference Championship Saturday (Oct. 25) morning at the Bobcat Cross Country Course.
The Bobcats, who were hosting the conference meet for the first time since 2016, finished in fourth place for the third consecutive year as they accumulated 109 points. Flagler College won its PBC-record eighth consecutive title as they amassed 21 points and finished ahead of Augusta University (62) and University of North Georgia (109).
Emma Shanklin finished one spot out of being named to the all-conference team as she placed 16th with a time of 19:29.7, while
Lorena Cazora was 30th with an effort of 20:03.3.
Abbie Brown came in 31st place with a time of 20:08.0 and
Maddie Reese Smith was one position back with a personal-best time of 20:09.4.
Haven Bejnerowicz was 35th with a time of 20:12.8, while
Emma Jow came in 42nd with a 20:42.6 effort.
Briley Ittel posted a time of 21:18.1 and came in 57th place, while
Emily Wright was 59th with a 21:25 time.
Izzy Hall came in 65th place with a time of 21:47.1 and was followed by
Lily Flood (68th, 22:01.6),
Eva Jeswald (69th, 22:07.0),
Rhone Marshall (75th, 22:19.0) and
Campbell Smith (80th, 22:49.0). Marshall's time was a personal best, while
Campbell Smith was named to the All-PBC Sportsmanship Team.

GCSU returns to action Nov. 8 as the Bobcats compete in the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Championship meet in Wingate, North Carolina, at 10 a.m.
