GREENWOOD, S.C. | Lander University picked up a 25-17, 25-14 and 25-8 Peach Belt Conference women's volleyball victory over Georgia College & State University Friday (Oct. 31) evening in the Finis Horne Arena.
The Bearcats avenged their loss to the Bobcats last month in Milledgeville as they improved to 15-7 overall and 7-3 in the PBC, while GCSU fell to 12-12 and 2-8. The two teams will wrap up their weekend series at 3 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 1).
Camryn Carlton led the Bobcats with six kills, while
Kaylee Weeks and
Sierra Piland accounted for three apiece.
Alanis Bernis posted eight digs, while Weeks and
Milla Smith tallied four each.
Sadie Parkerson distributed nine assists for GCSU.
