MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | Georgia College & State University cruised to a three-set sweep, 25-23, 25-21 and 25-17, in a Peach Belt Conference women's volleyball victory over Middle Georgia State University Saturday (Oct. 4) evening inside the Centennial Center.
The Bobcats improved to 9-6 overall and 2-2 in the PBC, while the Knights fell to 4-8 and 0-4 in conference. GCSU returns to action with a non-conference midweek contest against Fort Valley State University Tuesday (Oct. 7) at 6 p.m. at the Centennial Center.
Nya Warren, Kaylee Weeks, and Sierra Piland each contributed eight kills, while Lexi Polychrones added seven. Riese Johnson and Lexi Baum collected 15 and 11 assists, respectively. Alanis Bernis had 12 digs. Warren's blocks hit effectively, landing two solo blocks and having five assisted blocks.
