MILLEDGEVILLE, GA. | Georgia College & State University took down the University of South Carolina Aiken 3-2 in a women's volleyball match Saturday (Nov. 8) evening at the Centennial Center.
GCSU The Bobcats improved to 13-14 overall and 3-10 in the Peach Belt, while USC Aiken fell to 14-13 and 6-7. The final scores for each set were 25-22, 23-25, 25-20, 19-25, and 15-12. GCSU returns to the Centennial Center for their last regular season home game Thursday (Nov. 13) at 6 p.m. to host Emmanuel College.
Avery Huyck led the Bobcats in kills with 14.
Camryn Carlton followed closely with 12 kills.
Alanis Bernis led GCSU in digs with 24, and
Avery Huyck and
Riese Johnson followed with 15 and 14. Johnson also led the Bobcats in assists with 23, and
Sadie Parkerson added 15 of her own.
