MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | Georgia College & State University earned a 6-1 non-conference women's tennis victory over Converse University Saturday (Feb. 15) afternoon at the Centennial Center Tennis Courts.
The Bobcats improved to 2-1, while the Valkyries fell to 1-3. GCSU hits the road Sunday (Feb. 16) for a 2 p.m. match in Atlanta against Clark Atlanta University.
GCSU earned the doubles point with 6-1 victories at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles.
The Bobcats won five of six singles matches - all in straight sets to close out the victory.
