Montevallo picks up 6-1 win over GCSU

COLUMBUS, Ga. | The University of Montevallo picked up a 6-1 non-conference women's tennis victory over Georgia College & State University Friday (Feb. 28) afternoon at the John W. Walden Tennis Center.

The Falcons improved to 2-2, while the Bobcats fell to 4-2. GCSU returns to the Centennial Center Tennis Courts Tuesday (March 4) when they host Young Harris College at 2 p.m.

Chiara Santoro and Rachel Black recorded a 6-4 decision at No. 1 doubles, while Ashley Bentz registered a 6-3, 6-2 victory at No. 2 singles.
