Bobcats claw Mountain Lions 6-1

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | Georgia College & State University picked up a 6-1 women's tennis victory over Young Harris College Tuesday (March 4) afternoon at the Centennial Center Tennis Courts.

The Bobcats improved to 5-2, while the Mountain Lions, who was a former Peach Belt Conference-foe, fell to 3-5. The Bobcats hit the road Thursday (March 6) for a 3 p.m. match against North Greenville University in Greenwood, South Carolina.

GCSU swept all three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead before the Bobcats took five of the six singles matches - all decided in straight sets - to clinch the win.
