GCSU takes 6-1 win over Emmanuel (Ga.)

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | The Georgia College & State University women's tennis team recorded a 6-1 non-conference win over Emmanuel (Ga.) University Friday (Feb. 7) afternoon at the Centennial Center Tennis Courts.

The Bobcats leveled their record at 1-1 and they will face the Golden Tigers of Brenau University in a 2 p.m. first serve Tuesday (Feb. 11) at home. The Lions fell to 1-3.

GCSU took a 1-0 lead after sweeping all three doubles matches. The Bobcats won five of the six singles matches in straight sets and clinched the match win Victoria Conde Vendrell easily defeated her opponent 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5 singles.
