ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. | Flagler College open its Peach Belt Conference baseball series with a 4-2 win over Georgia College & State University Friday (March 21) evening at Drysdale Field.
The Saints improved to 21-6 overall and to 7-3 in the PBC, while the Bobcats fell to 15-14 and 8-2. The middle game of the three-game series is at 2 p.m. Saturday (March 22).
GCSU took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first on an unearned run after an infield single from

John Luke Glanton (4-3) took the loss in the complete-game effort, allowing eight hits and striking out six. Ben Stubbs (4-1) earned the win and Ethan Bobo earned his fifth save as three Saints pitchers recorded 10 strikeouts.Â
Cowan led the Bobcats as he had two of the seven GCSU hits.
Ben Hamacher recorded the lone extra-base hit with his double down the right field line to lead off the seventh inning.
