MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | The Georgia College & State University picked up a 5-2 Peach Belt Conference women's tennis victory over Lander University Tuesday (March 25) afternoon at the Centennial Center Tennis Courts.
The Bobcats won their eighth consecutive match as they improved to 12-2 overall and to 3-0 in the Peach Belt, while the Bearcats slipped to 8-5 and 0-1. GCSU returns to action Thursday (March 28) when they travel to Due West, South Carolina, for a 2 p.m. match against No. 28 Erskine College.

Victoria Conde Vendrell push the GCSU advantage to 3-0. Lander won a match to close to 3-1, but
Shradha Chhabra recorded a 6-3, 4-6, 6-1 victory at No. 6 to clinch the match for the Bobcats.
Chiara Santoro won a three-set match at No. 1 for the final GCSU point.
