MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | The University of North Georgia spoiled Senior Day for Georgia College & State University 6-1 in a battle of nationally ranked Peach Belt Conference women's tennis teams Saturday (April 12) afternoon at the Centennial Center Tennis Courts.

The 11th-ranked Nighthawks improved to 13-6 overall and 3-1 in the Peach Belt, while the 33rd-ranked Bobcats fell to 13-4 and 3-2. GCSU closes out its PBC slate Wednesday (April 16) at 3 p.m. when they travel to Columbus, Georgia, to face Columbus State University.
Ashley Bentz earned the lone GCSU point with a 7-5, 5-7 and 6-3 victory at No. 3 singles. It was one of three matches that went the distance as Young and Chhabra also went three sets in their respective singles matches.
