MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | Georgia College & State University battled with Flagler College to a 1-1 draw in a Peach Belt Conference women's soccer match Saturday (Sept. 27) afternoon at Saints Field.
The Bobcats moved to 3-3-2 overall and 2-0-1 in conference play, while the Saints moved to 3-2-2 and 1-1-1. GCSU will return to action next Saturday (Oct. 4) at 1 p.m. when they host the University of South Carolina-Beaufort.
Ellie Fuller scored her first goal of the season for the Bobcats at the 38:50 mark, assisted by Adriana Duque. It was Fuller's first game back after a season-ending knee injury last year.
Paige Churchill tied the game with a goal at the 56:01 mark for Flagler off an assist from Carrie Consolino.
Flagler held a 9-5 advantage in shots over GCSU. Both teams finished with two shots on goal.
Goalkeeper Kassidy Fortin recorded one save in the net for the Bobcats.
