Lane named PBC Men's Runner of the Week

AUGUSTA, Ga. | Georgia College & State University men's cross country's Nolan Lane was named the Peach Belt Conference's Male Runner of the Week.

Lane, a sophomore from Toomsboro, Georgia, was the top finisher for the Bobcats at the Georgia Tech Cross Country Invitational with a personal-best 8K time of 25.17.5. That 8K time, which is the fastest recorded in the Peach Belt this season, was tied for the third-fastest in GCSU history.

GCSU returns to action Friday (Oct. 9) at 6 p.m. when they host the Bobcat Invitational presented by Chick-fil-A of Middle Georgia at the Bobcat Cross Country Course, located on GCSU's West Campus.
