MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | No. 35 Valdosta State University defeated Georgia College & State University 7-0 in a non-conference women's tennis match Friday (March 13) afternoon at the Centennial Center Tennis Courts.

The Blazers improved to 5-3, while the Bobcats fell to 7-5. GCSU hits the road Tuesday (March 17) at noon when they face Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Despite dropping the doubles point, Rachel Black and Victoria Conde Vendrell earned the lone GCSU victory, a 6-1 decision at No. 1 doubles.
