No. 47 GCSU shuts out Shorter 7-0

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | Georgia College & State University shut out Shorter University 7-0 in a non-conference women's tennis match Friday (March 6) afternoon at the Centennial Center Tennis Courts.

The 47th-ranked Bobcats improved to 6-4, while the Hawks fell to 5-3. GCSU has a quick turnaround as they travel to Spartanburg, South Carolina, Saturday (March 7) for a 1 p.m. match against Converse University.

The Bobcats didn't drop a game as they swept the three doubles matches to open up a 1-0 lead. Five of the six matches were decided in straight sets for GCSU.
