2026 Peach Belt Conference Baseball Tournament Bracket

Bobcats earn No. 7 seed, will face Lander to open PBC Tournament

AUGUSTA, Ga. | Georgia College & State University has qualified for the 2026 Peach Belt Conference Baseball Tournament that will begin play Friday (May 1) as the No. 7 seed. 

For the fourth consecutive season, the PBC Tournament will be played over two weekends. The opening weekend of the event will be played at two sites and hosted by No. 1-seed University of North Georgia and No. 2 seed Lander University. 

The No. 4 (Flagler College), No. 5 (Georgia Southwestern State University) and No. 8  (Middle Georgia State University) seeds will play at North Georgia with the No. 3 (University of South Carolina-Aiken), No. 6 (Columbus State University) and No. 7 (GCSU) seeds at Lander. Each site will be a four-team double-elimination bracket with two games Friday (May 1), three Saturday (May 2) and one or two Sunday (May 3). The remaining teams from each site will then meet for a best-of-three championship series May 7-8 at the highest remaining seed. This format mirrors the NCAA regional format. The tournament winner will earn the league's automatic berth into the NCAA Division II Baseball Tournament.

The Bobcats will open the tournament at Dolny Stadium in Greenwood, South Carolina, against Lander at 4 p.m. Friday (May 1), while USC Aiken and Columbus State will open the day at 1 p.m.

Tickets will be sold as weekend passes and are $25 per person must be purchased online in advance at https://events.hometownticketing.com/boxoffice/peachbeltconference/L2VtYmVkL2V2ZW50LzI5OT9hY2Nlc3NfY29kZT1hZDc0ZjU4MmQ5NzMwMzJhZGE4NmRmNmQ2Zjg1MzQzNWJmNzBmMTk4. No cash sales will be available at the gate. Children ages five and under, and students with a valid ID from a PBC school are admitted free.

All games of the PBC Tournament will be available via pay-per-view. There is an option for all games this weekend ($25) or an all-tournament pass that covers this weekend and next week's championship series ($40).

Below is the schedule for the Lander bracket:

Friday's games:
Game 1 - No. 6 seed Columbus State vs. No. 3 seed USC Aiken, 1 p.m.
Game 2 - No. 7 seed GCSU at No. 2 seed Lander, 4 p.m.

Saturday's games:
Game 3 - Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2, Noon
Game 4 - Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2, 3 p.m. (loser eliminated)
Game 5 - Loser Game 3 vs. Winner Game 4, 6 p.m. (loser eliminated)

Sunday's games
Game 6 - Winner Game 3 vs Winner Game 5, 3 p.m.
Game 7 - (if necessary) - Winner Game 6 vs, Loser Game 6, 30 minutes following game 6
