Evan Cowan has been named to the All-Peach Belt Conference first team.
It's the second all-conference for the senior outfielder from Richmond Hill, Georgia. Cowan was a second team honoree in 2025.
Cowan, who has started all 45 games that he has played, leads the Bobcats in batting average (.447), hits (80), triples (2), slugging percentage (.531) and on-base percentage (.528). He is second on the team in walks (24), hit by pitches (10)Â and stolen bases (21).
Cowan is sixth in NCAA Division II statistics in hits per game (1.78). He is also seventh nationally in batting (.447), 12th in hits (80) and 31st in on-base percentage (.528). Cowan leads the Peach Belt in each of those four categories. He is also sixth in the PBC in stolen bases (21) and stolen bases per game (0.47).
The Bobcats return to action Saturday (May 2) at 4:30 p.m. when they face the University of South Carolina-Aiken in an elimination game in the Peach Belt Tournament being played in Greenwood, South Carolina.
