Michels pitched three years for the Bobcats before sustaining a career-ending shoulder injury. In her time in the circle she pitched 119.1 innings accumulating 45 strikeouts with an ERA of 3.68. 

Michels duties will consist of working with the pitchers and helping the coaches around the program. This will be the second season she will work in the support staff aspect as in her senior season she worked as a student assistant.
