Two straight for the Bobcats after 69-52 win over Shorter

ROME, Ga.- Georgia College & State University Women's Basketball picked up a 69-52 road win over Shorter University. 

GCSU improved to 2-2 while SU fell to 1-3. Women's Hoops are back in action Tuesday, Nov. 21 on the road at Fort Valley State University with tip-off set for 5 p.m.

Hannah Cail had the hot shooting hand for the Bobcat offense as she led the team icing 15 points. Cail went 6-for-11 from field goal range on the afternoon. Alexa Geary just missed the double digit point margin by a single point as she banked nine as the teams second leading scorer going 4-for-8. Miracle Parker went 4-for-8 as well knocking down eight points. Dashuan Jackson went 100% from field goal range on the afternoon with seven points. Ashyia Willis was the big passer on the day picking up six assists to lead the squad. 

Jada Warren led the rebounding for the Bobcats with seven most of which came from under the Eagles basket. Warren put up six points on the day as well. Parker and Jackson both picked up four rebounds each. All of Parker's rebounds came under the Bobcat basket for second chance points while Jackson had an equal spread of two from each side.
