AMERICUS, Ga. - Georgia College & State University Women's Basketball fell 82-52 on the road at Georgia Southwestern State University.
GCSU fell to 12-14 on the season and 6-10 in the conference. GSW improved to 20-3 overall and 13-2 in the Peach Belt Conference. Georgia College returns to action Wednesday, Feb 28 on the road at Augusta Unviersity for 5:30 p.m. tip-off.
Georgia Southwestern took the lead in the first and never let it as they went into the half leading the contest by 12.
Hannah Cail led the Bobcats in scoring with 12 points coming on five field goals and one from behind the three-point line.
Ashyia Willis was the teams second leading scorer with 10 points coming and a 5-for-8 performance.
Jada Warren led the team in boards with seven including four from under the GSW basket.
Alexa Geary and
Myra Strickland had the second most rebounds as they both had four each.
