MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | Lincoln Memorial University picked up a 6-1 men's tennis victory over Georgia College & State University Sunday (Feb. 25) afternoon at the Centennial Center Tennis Courts.
The Railsplitters improved to 6-1, while the Bobcats fell to 2-6. GCSU will travel to Macon, Georgia, for a 3 p.m. match against NCAA Division I's Mercer University Wednesday (Feb. 28).
Jorge Robinson and
Gabe Cizek picked up a 6-2 decision in No. 2 doubles, but the Railsplitters won the doubles point as they captured the other two. LMU sealed the double point with a 7-6 (6) win at No. 1.
Rodrigo Pérez Crespo earned the Bobcat point with a 7-6 (3), 6-4 victory at No. 2 singles.
