Storr leads 24-point win over USCA to snap five game losing streak

AIKEN, S.C.- Georgia College & State University women's basketball ends five game losing streak in 74-50 win over the University of South Carolina-Aiken. 

GCSU improved to 10-10 on the season and 4-6 in Peach Belt Conference play. USCA fell to 4-16 overall and remain winless in the conference. The Bobcats return home on Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 5:30 p.m. against the University of North Georgia. 

Georgia College scored double figures in every quarter including a 27 point third quarter to set the lead at 60-42 lead entering the final quarter. 

Jaleah Storr iced her career high to lead the team with a superb 18-point game. Storr had the hot hand going 5-for-8 from the floor, 50 percent from long range and a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line. Hannah Cail had the second most points on the team with 12 after having a 4-for-9 day including two long range buckets. Ashyia Willis iced the third most with 10 points on a 5-for-7 day from field goal range. 

The big forwards in Dashuan Jackson and Jada Warren nabbed a combined 15 rebounds each with eight and seven, respectively. Both came down with five defensive boards. Myra Strickland rounded out the leading rebounders with six.
