AUGUSTA, Ga. | No. 32-ranked Augusta University picked up a 5-2 Peach Belt Conference men's tennis victory over Georgia College & State University Tuesday (April 2) afternoon at the Newman Tennis Center.
The Jaguars improved to 9-6 overall and to 1-3 in the Peach Belt, while the Bobcats slipped to 4-10 and 0-2. GCSU remains on the road for a 2 p.m. PBC match Friday (April 5) in Greenwood, South Carolina, against No. 11 Lander University.
Georgia College picked up three-set wins at No. 3 and No. 4 singles.
Rodrigo Pérez Crespo earned a 5-7, 7-6 (2), 1-0 (4) victory at No. 3, while
Noé Villen claimed a 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 4.
