No. 3 Valdosta State picks up 6-1 win over No. 28 GCSU

VALDOSTA, Ga. | Defending NCAA Division II men's tennis national champions Valdosta State University picked up a 6-1 non-conference victory over Georgia College & State University Friday (April 18) afternoon at the VSU Tennis Complex.

The No. 3-ranked Blazers remained unbeaten at 17-0, while the No. 28 Bobcats closed out their regular season at 13-5. GCSU will compete in next week's Peach Belt Conference Tournament that begins next Friday (April 25) in Columbus, Georgia. Pairings for the tournament will be released Monday (April 21).

Gabe Cizek picked up the lone point for GCSU with his 6-2, 7-5 victory at No. 5 singles.
