AUGUSTA, Ga. | Georgia College & State University had 152 student-athletes named to the 2024-25 Peach Belt Conference's Presidential Honor Roll presented by Barnes & Noble College.??

The PBC announced that 1,742 student-athletes were named to the Presidential Honor Roll and gives the Peach Belt 1,500 or more honorees for the fifth year in a row and the 15th consecutive year over 1,000. Each student-athlete will receive a certificate from the conference office.

The Presidential Honor Roll recognizes all student-athletes at the 10 PBC core and eight associate member institutions in the league's 18 NCAA championship sports who had a grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the academic year. The honor roll has been divided into four groups: Presidential Scholars, Bronze Scholars, Silver Scholars and Gold Scholars. All student-athletes with a GPA from 3.0 to 3.24 are Presidential Scholars while Bronze Scholars are 3.25 to 3.49, Silver Scholars are 3.50 to 3.74 and Gold Scholars are those with a 3.75 to 4.00. GCSU had 59 student-athletes named as Gold Scholars to go along with the 39 Silver Scholars, 29 Bronze Scholars and 25 Presidential Scholars. 

The women's soccer team led the way for the Bobcats with 29 student-athletes being named to the honor roll, edging out softball with 24 and baseball with 21. Women's cross country had 14 named to the Presidential Honor Roll with women's volleyball (13), women's basketball (13), and men's basketball (10) right behind. Women's tennis had eight named to the honor roll, while men's tennis and men's golf added seven more. Men's cross country finished with six.
