Erin O'Brien has been named the Peach Belt Conference Runner of the Week.
O'Brien, a sophomore from Jefferson, Georgia, has been named the Runner of the Week for the second time in 2026.
O'Brien finished in 18th place at the Georgia Tech Cross Country Invitational last week with a personal-best 6K time of 22.09.7. That time, which is the fastest 6K effort in the PBC this season, was the third-fastest time in GCSU history.
GCSU returns to action Friday (Oct. 9) at 5 p.m. when they host the Bobcat Invitational presented by Chick-fil-A of Middle Georgia at the Bobcat Cross Country Course, located on GCSU's West Campus.
