GCSU takes care of Clark Atlanta 6-1

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | Georgia College & State University didn't let a rain delay slow them down as the Bobcats recorded a 6-1 non-conference women's tennis victory over Clark Atlanta University Friday (Feb. 20) afternoon at the Centennial Center Tennis Courts.

The Bobcats improved to 5-1 and will next travel to Newberry, South Carolina, for a 2 p.m. matinee against Newberry College. The Panthers fell to 1-1.

GCSU won all three doubles matches to earn the double point and take the 1-0 lead. Straight-set victories by Lucy Kim, Natalie Kirka and Laura Almagro clinched the win for the Bobcats. Alisa Chiang and Rachel Black picked up victories to closed out the win.
