PENSACOLA, Fla. | Georgia College & State University opened up play in its final regular-season tuneup Monday (March 30) afternoon at the Argonaut Invitational hosted by the University of West Florida.
The Bobcats shot rounds of 304 and 297 on the par 72, 6,903-yard layout at the Pensacola Country Club to stand at 601 after 36 holes, good for 15th place. West Florida leads the tournament with a 557 score.
Andrew Lutjens and
Chase Blanton are the top Bobcats in the field as they are tied at 149. Blanton posted rounds of 76 and 73, while Lutjens carded scores of 74 and 75.
Andy Scott is tied for 60th at 151 with tallies of 76 and 75, while
Jack Hutcheson is tied for 72nd place at 154 after firing an 80 and a 74.
Matthew Rogers is tied for 76th place at 155 with rounds of 76 and 77.
Jacob Speece, who is playing as an individual for the Bobcats, is in 83rd at 157 after an 81 and a 76.
The final round of the 54-hole event is Tuesday (March 31).
