MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | No. 5 Columbus State University pulled out a 6-1 Peach Belt Conference men's tennis victory over Georgia College & State University on Senior Day Friday (April 12) afternoon at the Centennial Center Tennis Courts.
The Cougars improved to 16-2 on the season and to 5-0 in the league, while the Bobcats fell to 4-11 anf 0-5. GCSU closes out the regular season Sunday (April 19) with a 2 p.m. PBC match against Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia.Â

The Bobcats got their point when
Jakob Andergassen picked up a 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 3 singles.
Chase Martin, who is ranked 44th nationally in singles, also went to three sets at No. 1 singles, but No. 21 Thomas Cardona from Columbus State prevailed 6-3, 2-6, 6-2.
