AUGUSTA, Ga. | Georgia College & State University men's tennis player Chase Martin has been named to the All-Peach Belt Conference second team in singles.

It is the first all-conference accolade for Martin.

Martin, a graduate student from Tampa, Florida,  has an 8-8 record at No. 1 singles for the Bobcats. Martin is also currently ranked No. 61 by the International Tennis Association Division II Computerized Singles Rankings. Martin defeated then-ranked No. 5 Pedro Liborio from the University of North Georgia earlier this month.

The Bobcats return to action Friday (April 24) at the 2026 Peach Belt Conference Men's Tennis Tournament that will be held in Columbus, Georgia. GCSU, which is the No. 7 seed in the single-elimination tournament, faces No. 2 seed and No. 3 nationally Flagler College in a 6 p.m . first round match at the John W. Walden Tennis Center.
