MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | Georgia College & State University women's soccer head coach Jack Marchant has released the upcoming 2026 schedule for the Bobcats.

"Very excited about the upcoming season and non-conference schedule we have put together," said Marchant. "We are coming up against some very competitive teams in the region, and it is going to get us prepared for another tough Peach Belt schedule.

"The league this year is very strong with all returning coaches," added Marchant. "A lot of programs are on the rise and every game is going to have its challenges, that's why playing in the Peach Belt is a great experience for everyone involved."

GCSU faces a 17-game regular season schedule with nine being played at the Bobcat Soccer Field.

The Bobcats open the 2026 season with a 7 p.m. home match against North Greenville University  before hitting the road for their next two matches. GCSU will face Valdosta State Univerrsity Aug. 30 in Valdosta, Georgia, before heading to St. Petersburg, Florida, for a Sept. 2 contest against Eckerd College.

GCSU will then play four of its next five matches at home. The Bobcats will host Lincoln Memorial University Sept. 5 and former Peach Belt Conference-foe University of Montevallo Sept. 9. GCSU will then open its PBC schedule Sept. 12 in Morrow, Georgia, against Clayton State University. The Bobcats return to the Bobcat Soccer Field for contests against Anderson (S.C.) University Sept. 16 and Flagler College Sept. 19. It will be the final PBC contest against Flagler before they leave the conference next year.

The Bobcats then hit the road for a season-long three-match swing. GCSU will play non-conference tilts against Carson-Newman University (Sept. 23) and Coker University (Sept. 30) sandwiched around a PBC match in Bluffton, South Carolina, against the University of South Carolina-Beaufort (Sept. 26).

The October schedule is features six Peach Belt contests. GCSU will host Middle Georgia State University (Oct. 3), the University of North Georgia (Oct. 14), Georgia Southwestern State University (Oct. 21) and Lander University (Oct. 24). The Bobcats will face the University of South Carolina-Aiken (Oct. 7) and Columbus State University (Oct. 17) on the road. North Georgia won the league's regular season title, while Columbus State won its third consecutive PBC Tournament crown.

The top eight teams will qualify for the Peach Belt Tournament in 2026. The quarterfinals will be held Oct. 31 with the semifinals and finals slated for Nov. 4 and 7, respectively. All matches of the tournament will be play on campus sites. The winner will earn the league's automatic berth to the NCAA tournament.
