MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | Georgia College & State University women's soccer midfielder Mackenzly Cheely has been named the Zaxbys Player of the Week.

Cheely, a senior from Brooks, Georgia, scored twice and added an assist as the Bobcats opened their season with a 5-0 home victory over North Greenville University Aug. 27.

GCSU returns to action Saturday (Sept. 5) when they host Lincoln Memorial University at 1 p.m. at the Bobcat Soccer Field.
