MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | The Georgia College & State University men's golf, women's soccer and women's volleyball teams fine themselves in action this week.

The women's soccer team (2-2-0 overall, 1-0-0 Peach Belt) will play twice at the friendly confines of the Bobcat Soccer Field this week. GCSU will host Anderson (S.C.) University Wednesday (Sept. 16) at 7 p.m. before stepping back into Peach Belt Conference action Saturday (Sept. 19) when they entertain Flagler College at 1 p.m. The Bobcats are 7-0-0 all-time against Anderson and it will be the first meeting with the Trojans since 2021 when the Bobcats won 2-1 in Milledgeville. Flagler holds a 12-5-3 ledger against GCSU all-time. Flagler defeated GCSU 1-0 in the quarterfinals of the PBC Tournament last season in Milledgeville. The last result for the Bobcats against the Saints was last year's regular-season meeting when the teams drew 1-1 in St. Augustine, Florida. The last time GCSU won was 2015 when the Bobcats won 1-0 in St. Augustine.

The volleyball team (2-10 overall, 0-0 Peach Belt) has a busy week ahead as they wrap up their three-week road trip. GCSU will take on the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and Elizabeth City State University in a tri-match Tuesday (Sept. 15) in Pembroke, North Carolina. The Bobcats will face their former PBC foe UNC Pembroke at 2 p.m. and then play Elizabeth City State at 4 p.m. GCSU leads the all-time series with the Braves 11-5 and it will be the first time the teams will face off since UNCP left the PBC in 2021. It will be the first-ever meeting with the Vikings.

GCSU will open Peach Belt action Friday (Sept. 18) at Lander University in Greenwood, South Carolina, at 6 p.m. before travelling to Augusta, Georgia, to face Augusta University at 3 p.m. The Bearcats lead the all-time series 21-9, but GCSU won 3-2 last year in Milledgeville. The Jaguars have won the last 13 meetings with the Bobcats and hold a 27-6 edge in the all-time series.

The Bobcats will tee off their men's golf season Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 14-15)  at the Savannah Lakes Men's Invitational  hosted by Lander. Eighteen teams will compete on the par 72, 7,032-yard layout at the Monticello Golf Club in McCormick, South Carolina, in the 54-hole tournament.
